As per SRO 428 of 2012, following Services pertaining to J&K police have been included in J&K Public Service Guarantee Act of 2011:
- Copy of FIR to the applicant
- Verification Report from CID for acquiring Passports
- Verification report from CID for newly appointed candidates
- Verification by Police Station Concerned for certification of identity
- Verification for issuance of character certificate
- Copy of untraced report in accident/ drowning cases
- Copies of untraced reports in cases of stolen vehicles
- Copy of untraced report in theft cases
